I know we are going Good Friday and an extra day at the end of the year, now will we have a make up day on President's Day too? Please post soon.

No....Presidents day is off no matter what...i think

It's already been decided that President's Day is off from the start of the week so people have already made plans for that day, we cannot have that day. There are people that plan to go out of state and such on that day, so if they were to have school on that day, they would be hindering the education of the students which wouldn't go well with the parents or the state.

are we still going to have a half day on friday of this week? are we still going to have the end of the trimester (High School) next week?

President's Day will not be used to make school up this year. This is a decision that is jointly made through discussion with PEA.

It would be nice if cancelation was called prior to 6:00 AM of a morning. Specifically for Wednesday. It helps parents who have to make arrangements for their children.

What does it look like for tomorrow? Will school be canceled? Is there still going to be a half a day on Friday?

From what I have heard from around the community, there will be a cancelation on Wednesday because of the bad weather. We should still have a half day on Friday and Presidents day will be off. John and Dan are a little busy right now, and I really can't blame them, look at it outside. =D

It would be nice to get some confirmation as soon as possible though.

On Monday evening PEA Representatives and the Administration met to discus the use of President's Day as a make-up day. All representatives agreed that we would not use President's Day. After losing the last two days of school, we talked with PEA representatives to once again discuss the use of President's Day. In the best interest of children, we all agreed that we should use President's Day as a make-up day. It is our opinion, that we should always base our decisions on what's best for children, and we salute PEA Leadership for agreeing to this solution.
