Waiver for Missed School Days

For this year only, the state is allowing waivers for schools who have missed days because of the severe weather.

Plymouth will apply for the waiver. If accepted, we will need to make up six days instead of eight.

The in-service ½ day scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, 2008, has been cancelled.

School Closing and More Information

As we looked at the condition of the county roads this morning, we determined that it would be dangerous for buses to navigate the roads even with a two-hour delay.

Information pertaining to Plymouth High School Finals and the Sectional Basketball game will be announced at approximately noon today.

The Adult Education and GED classes for today are cancelled.

Closed Tuesday

PCSC schools are closed today, February 26, due to inclement weather.

Congratulations Lady Pilgrims

The Lady Pilgrims won an exciting semi-state game on Saturday against NLC foe Wawasee. Tickets for the IHSAA Girls Basketball 3A State Finals will go on sale in the Plymouth High School Athletic Office on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4:30 PM - 6:30. The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims will play Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, March 1, at 6:00 pm. All tickets are $10.00.

Blog Bits - Success

Congratulations to Plymouth High School students, Andy Hacha and Zack Naas who were recently named to the 1st Team Academic All-State Wrestling Team. Not only did Zack and Andy excel on the wrestling mat, but they also excelled in the classroom. Kudos goes out to Zack and Andy, their parents, and the wrestling coaches!

Also a big congratulation goes out to Bob Read, PHS Head Wrestling Coach who received the prestigious Bill Thom award and Allen Shockney, PHS Head Cross Country Coach, who was recently inducted into the IATCCC Coaches Hall of Fame.

Blood Mobile - Rescheduled

The annual Red Cross Blood Mobile has been rescheduled for Monday, March 17th (Saint Patrick's Day). The blood drive will be held in the high school multi-purpose room.

Scheduled appointments will start at 8:00 AM and end at 1:45 PM.

PHS Play - Performance Schedule

The Plymouth High School Theatre Department has moved their play, Spook House, to Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Please come see this outrageously funny spoof on all of the old creature movies. All tickets are $6.00 and can be purchased at the door.

Dessert Recital

The PHS Choral Department will present a "Dessert Recital" on Monday evening, February 11, 2008 starting at 7:00 p.m. in the high school studio theatre. This recital will feature all vocal state finalists going to Indianapolis to compete at the ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble competition on February 16, 2008. The student soloists are

Juniors: John Patrick, Meghan Stephenson, Samantha Overmyer and Casey Faricelli Sophomores: Heather Rohr and Matthew Slaydon

Also performing will be 3 ensembles (also state qualifiers) made up of members of the Crimson Connection Show Choir. Admission is free. Please join us for an evening featuring some of Plymouth's finest young musicians.

Blood Mobile - Postponed

The Red Cross Blood Mobile that was scheduled to be held Tuesday, February 19th in the Plymouth High School multi-purpose room has been postponed. A new date for the blood drive has not yet been determined.
