If we had to cancel all activities last night, then we should have had a delay at least this morning; the roads were just as bad and it was dark. If you can't make the right decision concerning safety, then resign
If you have to be "anonymous" and can't leave your name on this blog to say that you think Mr. Tyree should resign, you probably shouldn't say anything at all.
Has anyone noticed that we miss school on the dumbest days? If it is bad out, of course we get school. But if it is not to bad out, we get canceled. Like what is up with that?! Just trust your first instinct... okay?? You're welcome.
They look at many different factors when determining school delays and/or school closings. First off, they got a great team of people on the roads checking road conditions. They look at those current conditions and take what the rest of the day is going to be bringing. Do I agree with each decision made? Of course I don't, but you have to leave with the decision made. I think that day when all after school stuff was cancelled, I think it was a fair, not perfect, but fair call. Roads where slippy on side streets in country. As far as that next day concerning, it was a better situation in my thought. I personally think that the complainers on here are those who want a cancalation when only one inch of snow falls. Nice work Dan and everyone else!!!

We should of got to stay home or at least a 2 hour delay. seeing as the roads are slick and it's worse then when we got no school.

Way to go Dan. Way to go.
I agree with the 2 previous comments completely.
