Congratulations to all of the band and orchestra students that attended the ISSMA District level Solo and Ensemble competition this past Saturday.
The following students had GREAT performances and will now advance to the ISSMA State Finals (held at North Central H.S. in Indianapolis) on the last Saturday of February.

Are the junior high kids chopped liver? They too competed and did an awesome job!

I will ask the junior high music director's to send their results to me for publication. I don't think any student accomplishment is chopped liver.
This message says "congratulations to ALL of the band and choir students that competed." Nowhere does it mention that this is a high school post.
The post also did not mention the numerous high school students that did not compete for state. The high school had several dozen students compete, and this letter obviously was intended to recognize the state finalists in addition to congratulating everyone.
There were no middle school state finalists.
Great job to all the kids from the band and orchestra! You had a very successful day and made everyone proud.
