This past weekend, the PHS Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo both earned the top honors (Gold Awards) at the annual ISSMA Jazz Contest @ LaPorte H.S. Both groups gave great performances and represented our music department at PHS well.
Also over the weekend, our Winter Drumline competed against 14 other schools at the Warsaw I.P.A. Winter Drumline Contest. The group placed 5th out of all participants.
This coming weekend, the Winter Drumline will compete at the State Prelims in hopes of another trip to the I.P.A. State Finals.
Also this weekend, the PHS Winter Color Guard will compete in the IHSCGA Divisional Finals with expectations of a great final performance of the season!
