Wait a minute, the finals is the same as it was re-scelduled for. Sorry my speeling is bad. My question is, why hasen't this changed because I and many other students need some time to study at school. Nobody can except us to study everything at home. We need to do some studing at school also. I am going to be really p...ed off if the finals don't change. We need time to study and teachers hasen't given us the material for what we need to study.

As it looks right now, we are not going to have any school tommorow because tonight we are supposed to get a lake -effect band to set up in our area and give us another 3 to 6 inches on top of what we got now. Then that is not the only problom we are facing because there is going to be blowing and drifting of the snow to. I was in the country road area at 2 p.m. today and around tamahack and in that area, it was inpassable. I think it was a good idea to not have school today, but a bad idea to have school tommorow.
MOVE THE END OF THE TRIMESTER BACK ANOTHOR WEEK SO WE HAVE MORE TIME TO STUDY FOR OUR FINALS. BUT KEEP THE HALF DAY FOR FRIDAY.

LETS SEE HERE. GOOD IDEA THAT THE WAS NO SCHOOL TODAY. BAD IDEA IF THERE IS SCHOOL TOMOROW. BAD IDEA IF THERE IS A 2 HOUR DELAY TOMMOROW. GOOD IDEA IF WE CLOSE SCHOOL TOMMOROW. BAD IDEA IF WE DON'T MOVE THE END OF THE RIMESTER BACK BY A WEEK. GOOD IDEA IF THE TRIMESTER IS MOVED BACK A WEEK.
JOSH WHAT IS UR LAST NAME?

why do you want to keep having school closed---today I can understand but you can't already know what it will be like tomorrow-how many times have the weather people been wrong?!? Oh, I guess that you just don't want to have a summer vacation at all, yeah that explains it.

No, they just care about kids' safety.

It's absolutely selfish for those to claim that Summer Vacation is being taken away. I guess some people would rather have dead students and a long Summer Vacation instead of living students who could be healthier and a slighly, yes SLIGHTLY shorter summer vacation.

Seriously people, THINK.

Relax...it's kids wanting their vacation. Kids don't think about weather, they look how their vacation is being cut short. If you were a student in school, you would be thinking that too. Just let the administrators do their job. If we get too many more days the state superintendent should help us out. It's not like we ask for help every year.

It's really slick on the backroads and I have already seen someone wrapped around a telephone pole this morning, so where exactly is the two hour delay that we absolutely need? Sure the town roads are fine to travel on if you consider that fine, but the back roads are not safe at all. A bus is going to slip and slide on them, and things are not looking safe at all right now.

By the way, in response to the latest reply on the blog, it's not just children wanting to have their vacation during the summer. There are many parents that are unreasonably upset at the closings and delays that are made to protect the students. I have already seen many that insult or make fun of the administration and it's absolutely pathetic.

i think it's stupid that people are upset about the delays. hm, would you rather die in a car accident from how bad the roads are or have a slightly shorter summer vacacation? i don't know about you, but i think summer vacation's not QUITE that important. i can't believe there wasn't even a 2-hour delay this morning. when the weather is like this, everyone ends up mostly missing first hour anyway just trying to get to school. why not help us out by making it start a little later to see if the road conditions could get better? it upsets me that the school board seems just like the unreasonable students and parents - they just want to get the days in for school rather than ensure that all their students can safely get there. it was a good move to cancel school yesterday. as much as i'd hate to stay home again today, where is the good judgment of someone else to say "suck it up, it's for your own safety?"

We need a two hour delay or school just going to close early because the band of snow is shifting east toward here. So think about those buses tryinf to get through that

This is ridiculous. We come to school and are told not to take attendance until they announce it is alright. You say you are looking out for us? It took me 20 minutes to get to the high school and I live in town. We are supposed to get all of the lake effect while we are at school today. If it is bad now, how is it going to be, come 3:15. As a senior, I am not fond of the idea of moving back graduation, but I am also not fond of risking my safety on trying to get to school. Ancilla College even had a delay. What are you guys thinking?
