I HAVE TO SAY THAT BEING A SOPHOMORE HERE AT PHS DURING THE 08 09 SCHOOL YEAR THAT THE LUNCHES THIS YEAR SUCKED BAD TIME. I HATE THIS WELLNESS POLICY BECAUSE BY THE TIME U GET HOME U R HUNGRY AGAIN. LET THE STUDENTS PICK WHAT WE WANT TO EAT CUS WE SHOULD KNO WHAT IS GOOD AND WHATS BAD SO JUST LET US CHOOSE INSTEAD OTHERS CHOSING FOR US
I agree with this post above me. The lunches were not great at all this year. I am a senior at the high school and I have never had as bad of a lunch as I did here at school. There were days where there where bosco sticks with a couple leaves of lettuce. WOW a bread stick with salad. I am a teenager and I spent 1.60 on crap. You are just ripping us off and in this time of downfall due to no money I want my moneys worth of food. We get yelled at for bringing our own lunches due to what is in them yet when we try to eat what you have we are starving the rest of the day. I am begging my friends everyday to buy me more food. This is ridiculous. something should be done about how the school is scamming us teenage growing students.
What exactly is "good" and "bad"? A bag of potato chips with a can of pop and a Little Debbie snack for desert? Because I have honestly witnessed people eat that exact combo many a time. If you dont like school lunch, and what the school has to offer, bring your own meal. It's as simple as that.
