PCSC Holiday Present to Marshall County

We all know that the real spirit of the holiday season is giving and not receiving. It is for that reason that staff and students from Plymouth Community School Corporation are pleased to announce their large gift to the Marshall County United Way Fund.

Last year, Plymouth Schools gave $16,568.00. This season, the staff and students increased their gift to $23,256.00, nearly fifty percent more than last year.

Some notable contributions include 100% of the Webster Elementary staff contributed, the Plymouth High School staff doubled their contributions from last year, and the Plymouth Community School Corporation students nearly doubled their gift from last year.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a multitude of thanks for working with a wonderful group of people!

PHS Named 2009 "Head of the Class" School

Congratulations to Plymouth High School for its selection as a 2009 “Head of the Class” school in Indiana’s Best Buys report from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

Plymouth High School is one of only 10 schools from the state’s 357 public and charter schools included in this study to receive this distinction as the “best of the best.” This is the first time Plymouth has received this top honor in the report’s 11-year history.

The goal of the Indiana Chamber’s Best Buys report is to identify and honor schools that are excelling by offering the highest levels of academic achievement for the lowest amount of tax dollars. You can read more about the report and view last year’s press release at the link below.
